Ion Audio USB Turntable

The Ion Audio USB Turntable is a sleek machine that does a whole lot more than simply play vinyl. By playing your favorite vinyl tracks, you can actually convert them to digital media like CDs, hard disk, or other portable media devices. With a stereo input you can also digitize music from cassettes or other analog sources. The turntable sports a sleek, silver design and includes high-speed audio recording software for either your Mac or PC.

The belt-drive turntable will allow you to play records at either 33 1/3 or 45 rpm, but you can also convert old 78 rpm albums at the 33 1/3 speed. The turntable is easily connectable to your computer through a USB cable and the included software optimizes sound quality in MP3 format. Line-level RCA outputs are also included in case you wish to use the turntable as your primary stereo system. A hinged dustcover helps keep the unit clean. Weighing 8 lbs. and measuring 14.6"L x 17.7"W x 5.4"H, the unit is portable and plugs into any wall outlet with an AC adapter.

Even if you have never seen a turntable before, the instructions clearly articulate how to play and/or convert your vinyl. The software uses ITunes to store the converted MP3s and is ideal for someone with a ton of vinyl to digitize.
